SHH It's a secret! Hey Tennessee Mikalah fans read this!
Free admission should lead to packed stands for demolition derby!
The CMT reality show “Gone Country,” will be filming one of its episodes Saturday night at the Henry County Fairgrounds.
That’s when seven stars from genres other than country music will be taking place in a celebrity demolition derby sponsored by Mike Weatherford Promotions of Paris.
The seven new cast members — Jackson, Bach, Cara, Gordon, Kirkpatrick, Lamas and Young — will be brought to Paris Saturday and will participate in a demolition derby at the fairgrounds beginning at 8 p.m.
Those performers don’t know yet that they will be involved in the derby since the show’s concept is to surprise the performers with certain country-type events in which they have to compete.
It’s likely that they have been sequestered by the show’s producers by now and they won’t be seeing any of the publicity or news articles about the upcoming derby.
In order to guarantee a big and loud crowd for the CMT cameras during filming, admission is free to the public for Saturday night’s event.
After the celebrity demolition derby, the winning celebrity will then take part in another demolition derby involving regular drivers.

CMT's 'Gone Country 2' Reveals Cast May 06, 2008 - Country
By Ken Tucker, Nashville
Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach of Skid Row fame, Grammy and Academy Award winner Irene Cara, "American Idol" finalist Mikalah Gordon, singer Jermaine Jackson, NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, actor Lorenzo Lamas and actress Sean Young will vie for the top prize on CMT's "Gone Country 2," the follow-up to the network's highest rated series ever.
John Rich returns as host and judge of the show, which is currently filming in Nashville and which will begin airing in August.
As with the first season, the show will immerse the celebrities in all things country for a chance to break out as a country star. Each celebrity will be paired two Nashville songwriters with whom they will write a country song. In addition, the cast will compete in challenges that test them musically and physically to adapt to a life in country music, both on and off the stage.
At the end of the show, the artist that is most prepared to impress a country audience, as determined by Rich, will record and release their single to country radio.
Julio Iglesias Jr., Dee Snider, Maureen McCormick, Diana DeGarmo, Bobby Brown, Sisqo and Carnie Wilson competed during the first season, which was ultimately won by Iglesias.
